About

In addition to training qualified information technology teachers for public and private schools, our department aims to prepare experts specifically for the educational technology and software sectors. Within this framework, our students take courses over the course of four years focused on professional and subject-specific knowledge in information technology education, instructional technology, and software.
With approximately 1,000 graduates, YTÜ – BÖTE boasts a strong professional network and enjoys high recognition both in the field of educational technology and within the private school sector. Our graduates are qualified to work as teachers in both public and private schools. In addition, with their expertise in areas such as instructional design, digital content development, educational software, learning analytics, distance education system management, user experience design (UX), e-learning consulting, corporate training development, AR/VR-based educational applications, and AI-supported learning solutions. Furthermore, many of our graduates work in various fields within the software industry, such as software development, cybersecurity, database management, and systems analysis.
